This is a giclée art print of the painting "York Minster", created by the artist Heather Fisher. The original piece was lovingly painted in her Staffordshire art studio with use of oil paint on canvas. The print has a white border around the artwork to make framing and mounting easier for the buyer. York is one of Heather’s favourite places to visit with its grand architecture and historic buildings. The iconic cathedral of York Minster made an apt subject for this wintery scene. Heather was inspired by the colour palettes found in Monet’s snowy winter landscapes. The artwork is a contrast between warm and cool, with its red and blue tones, interspersed with sweeping white brushstrokes to blur the painting and create a snowy effect.
